Geneva Ge is a visual artist who works with oil painting. Born in Vancouver, Canada, she currently studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio. In her practice she explores themes of ontology and our subjectivity through visual impairment. Emphasizing distortion of familiar subjects, her works are an invitation to consider perception as subjective terrain—not concerned with what is seen, but how we come to see, especially when sight begins to fail.
